WHAT LEVEL OF RUGBY DO YOU OFFER?
Manitoba currently runs one senior men’s and one senior women’s league for full contact, rugby union rules play. The Wasps run one women’s team and 1-2 men’s teams per year depending on roster numbers. We recruit all skill levels, ages, and genders. We welcome all to our club ranging from long-time players or those new to the sport entirely – everyone can find a place with us.
HOW DO I JOIN?
It’s simple! Just show up for practice. When registration opens for each season we will link you to the Rugby Canada online registration site. See our registration page for more information regarding cost and as well as the link to register. You must be registered to participate in the contact portions of practice. Contact a member of the executive or email waspsrugby@gmail.com for more specific information about registering and joining.
WHERE ARE HOME MATCHES PLAYED?
At Maple Grove Rugby Park, 90 Frobisher Road (St. Mary’s Road at the Perimeter). The Wasps have club members from all corners of Winnipeg, if a ride is an issue let us know and we will see what we can do!

When: TBD 2021
Where: Wildwood Community Center
HOW DO I GET JERSEYS AND/OR EQUIPMENT?
A game jersey will be provided day each match. New players may be provided with shorts and socks based on availability or they may be purchased through the club. Other equipment required includes outdoor rugby or soccer cleats are required and a mouthguard.
